Paul Emerson Carlyle Ince is an English professional football coach and former player who played in midfield from 1982 to 2007. Ince has spent most of his career playing at the highest level. after leaving West Ham United he moved to Manchester United, where he played in the Premier League. After two years in Serie A with Inter Milan, he returned to England to play for Liverpool, Middlesbrough and Wolverhampton Wanderers. After a stint as manager-player for Swindon Town, he retired as manager-player for Macclesfield Town in 2007. He continued to lead Milton Keynes Dons, Blackburn Rovers, Notts. County and after a hiatus of nearly two years, Blackpool. He was chosen 53 times by the England team, scoring two goals. As a player, he won several trophies with Manchester United, becoming the first player of color to lead England as well as an English club at Blackburn on September 8. His son, Tom Ince, is playing for the championship team Stoke City.

From 1992 until 2000, he was a member of the England national team. As a midfielder for Manchester United, he won two Premier League titles in 1993 and 1994.
